Initial Consultation

Were you just served by the sheriff with divorce, child support or custody papers?

Did your husband or wife just tell you they wanted a divorce?

Did your husband or wife leave you and take all or some of your marital property or all of the money out of the bank?

Did you just find out your husband or wife is having an affair?

Did you just learn that you are about to have a child with someone that you aren't married to?

Are you behind in your child support payments?

These are just a few of the situations that our clients find themselves in when they first contact our office. We are here to help, but we first need to meet with you to learn about you, your case, and strategize on the best situation to resolve your problem.

We Will:

  • Listen and review any documents that you have.
  • Perform a preliminary analysis of your case.
  • Advise you of what are the next best steps to resolve your case and what to expect.
  • Give you information on fees required to hire us.

Our goal is to be upfront and honest with our analysis and recommendations. If filing something in court or hiring an attorney is not needed, we will tell you. We will advise you on you how to conduct yourself moving forward.

If we think that your goals are unrealistic in the situation, we will tell you. The consultation is your opportunity to:

  • Meet our staff that will be working on your case.
  • Ask any questions that you may have.

Everything that you tell us in the consultation and if we accept your case, during our representation of you is confidential. This applies even if you do not hire us. If your husband or wife contacts us, we will not be able to meet with them. Every case is different and attorney fees may vary. Please remember we will not be able to give you a more exact estimate of costs until we meet with you, review any paperwork you may have, and hear your story.

We look forward to working with you!
